Buy Indian Dasheri Mangoes from Malihabad India in Dubai UAE
This exotic fruit gets its name from the village Dasheri near Malihabad in Uttar Pradesh. The grove here houses a 300-year-old tree that is believed to be the mother tree of this unique mango cultivar. It was in the 18th century when the erstwhile Nawab of Lucknow planted the first grafts of Dasheri in his garden. Not surprisingly, its rich taste and sweet fragrance lured the denizens in and around Uttar Pradesh. Today, the variety has gained recognition throughout India. Malihabad continues to be the largest supplier and producer of this exotic mango variant.
Dasheri mangoes are long and oval shaped, with a light green or yellow-green skin when mature, becoming golden yellow when ripe. Dasheri mangoes have a fiberless, peach-colored flesh with a medium-sized stone. The flavor is very sweet and aromatic.
