We invite you to explore our complete collection of Organic Flours & Atta to discover high-quality, unadulterated pantry essentials for your culinary repertoire.

Authentic Indian Origin and Cultivation

Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor), widely known as Jowar, is a deeply rooted staple crop that has been cultivated across the Indian subcontinent for thousands of years, naturally thriving in sun-drenched, semi-arid agricultural landscapes. Sourced directly from certified organic farming collectives, the grains used for our flour are grown using sustainable, traditional methods without the application of synthetic pesticides or artificial fertilizers. Once harvested at peak maturity, the seeds are meticulously cleaned and precision stone-ground to preserve their inherent botanical structure, ensuring an uncompromised level of purity.

Texture, Flavor Profile, and Composition

Characterized by a pale, creamy hue, our Organic Sorghum Flour possesses a soft, exceptionally fine texture that integrates smoothly into various doughs and batters. On the palate, it delivers a uniquely mild, earthy, and subtly sweet flavor profile that enhances both savory preparations and baked goods without overpowering accompanying ingredients. From an objective nutritional standpoint, sorghum is known to naturally contain dietary fiber, complex carbohydrates, and essential minerals such as iron and potassium, gracefully retaining its wholesome integrity through our minimal, careful milling process.

Versatile Culinary Applications

The ultra-fine milling and adaptable flavor profile of this flour make it an indispensable ingredient across a wide spectrum of culinary traditions. It serves as the quintessential structural base for classic Indian flatbreads, including traditional jowar rotis and bhakris. Additionally, it functions as a highly effective blending flour for dense artisan breads, savory crepes, muffins, pancakes, and cookies. Its natural starch composition also allows it to be utilized as a reliable thickening agent for rustic soups, slow-cooked stews, and complex gravies.

Premium Packaging and Convenient Sizing

To guarantee optimal freshness and maximum convenience for home chefs, our Organic Sorghum Flour Jower Atta is thoughtfully packaged in a 500g capacity. This accessible volume is perfectly suited for everyday culinary applications and frequent baking without requiring excessive pantry storage space. The flour is securely sealed in high-grade packaging explicitly designed to protect the finely milled grains from ambient moisture, oxidation, and ultraviolet light exposure, rigorously maintaining its pristine texture and delicate flavor profile from the Indian mills directly to your kitchen.

  • Use your experience with produce such as peaches or avocados, which also become softer as they ripen.
  • Ripe Mangoes will sometimes have a fruity aroma at their stem ends.

How to ripen Mangoes

  • Keep unripe Mangoes at room temperature. Mangoes should not be refrigerated before they are ripe.
  • Mangoes will continue to ripen at room temperature, becoming sweeter and softer over several days.
  • To speed up ripening, place Mangoes in a paper bag at room temperature, and store for approximately 2 days or until the Mangoes are ripe.
  • Once ripe, Mangoes can be moved to the refrigerator to slow down ripening for several days.

How to store mangoes

  • Once ripe, Mangoes should be moved to the refrigerator, which will slow down the ripening process.
